The media could not be loaded. I have received the scooter and I have to say I’m well impressed, far better than our old one. First impressions are, it’s great. It came in a large box and was extremely well packaged. It also has a small tool T Handle Allen key to fit the screws which have something like Locktite on them to keep them in place over time. Easy well written instructions. It is very well built, suspension, nice chunky tyres, large deck and the front and rear light are lovely and bright. Also has bright indicators on each end of the handlebar which is a nice touch if you want to use them. With the addition of hazard lights for any emergency situation you might need to use them. I like that when you brake it recharges the battery, not sure how much it adds but every bit helps in my opinion. This scooter will be ideal for when I use my camper van and can use it on the sites and on my trips when I’m off grid, should be ideal for terrain.

I was looking to pay a little extra for a scooter with a better range but I can still only get 12 miles out of a full charge so nowhere near what is advertised. The scooter is built amazingly and is so sturdy but the range is so disappointing considering I could get that from aovo for £200 less

The niu 300p is fast and durable and can handle my weight(around 120kg) which is perfect but I wish it can go faster.

I've had this scooter for about a week now and love it. Use it everyday to get to work and back. It's loads of fun and pretty quick too. Got a pretty good range on it too , about 25 miles on a full charge. Average speed is about 15mph and had about 19mph going down hill. The only down side is that it a bit on the heavy side but if you don't mind that then it's great. It also has a lock option which locks the back wheel and sets off an alarm when someone tries to move it. There's also an option to limit the top speed so you can make it safe for kids to learn on. LED lights front and back and even has a break light. I would definitely recommend this scooter

wow since upgrading from a non suspension scooter to this , totally different experience , a better accelerator ,the foot base seems much wider on this , and the new indicators are so bright as well as the headlight (high and low beam) great for security to, if you cant connect to the app you cant steal it the brakes lock on , front and rear brakes like a bike ,gives you a fully comfortable ride , huge box when delivered , needs 2 really to get out the box , when assembling don't rush .don't forget to connect the green plug inside the handle to handle upright

Easy to use and battery lasts a long time (4x 20 mins trip to/from work) It is quite heavy (I underestimated this, and have bad wrist so carrying it up the stairs is not fun) speed is good, sturdy, assembly was first a bit confusing for me. Unfortunately after two months someone robbed our house and stole it. Couldn’t do anything. Did a police report and that’s it. I’m still paying it off monthly :/

I searched for months to find the right scooter for my daughter, who is going to college. I wanted a scooter that was well-made, under $600, had distance of at least 20 mi, good battery life, went up modest hills and had a min top speed of 15mph. I narrowed my selection to 4 brands, Gotrax, Hiboy, Segway and NIU. Right away, the Segway (Ninebot Max) achieved all the min specs that I was looking for, was well-made, but was too expensive. The Gotrax G4 and Ultra vs the Hiboy S2 pro was a close comparison, but the Hiboy seemed to have better specs. So it came down to the Hiboy S2 Pro vs the NIU kqi2 Pro. Both a good scooters, but in the end I chose the NIU, because from my research they are a larger manufacturer and have a wide variety of scooters, mopeds and other electric and gas powered vehicles. I found that Hiboy had many more complaints re: their quality and therefore it was NIU for me. Lastly, I considered price. Although the NIU's MSRP is $600+,I was able to get it during Amazon deal days for $425, which to me is a steal. Lastly, the scooter arrived and was well packaged. It is well-made, sturdy, great looking and achieved all the things that I wanted it to have in an entry level adult scooter. My daughter loves it and is having a blast riding it around town and going across campus in no time. I would highly recommend this scooter for its build, safety (lights and reflectors all over the scooter), speed, tires, braking and sturdiness. Lastly, I reached out to customer service with a question about the charging port and they responded on 30 min! It has a good warranty and with customer service being that responsive, that is icing on the cake. Good luck, there are a lot of choices, so I hope my review will help you with your decision.

This was my first electric scooter and I am so glad I made the purchase. Dealing with traffic was driving me crazy so this was a great investment in saving time (and gas). It's built very well - very sturdy, solid construction. I like the larger air-filled tired (10" vs 8" I saw on most scooters) as they absorb bumps decently well and allow for great handling. The three speed modes are great and it really flies. Easily gets to 28km/hr. It's a little heavy but that's probably a good thing and makes it feel much more solid. I ended up getting a U-Lock so I could lock it up while I'm around town to keep it safe, and it fits perfectly on the frame while riding (see pictures). Honestly, nothing to complain about here. Totally worth the money. Battery life seems pretty good too, although I rarely take it out for more than 5-6 kms per trip, so running out of battery is never a concern (I only rated it 4 stars for battery because I don't know if it would last the 40kms in the real world based on what I've seen personally so far). Highly recommend this scooter and it's much less expensive than a Segway, etc.

Have had this scooter for little over a month and a half and it has been great! Nothing has come loose. Stem is rock solid. Latching and folding mechanism is simple but work really well. Overall it is excellent scooter. Speed-wise I have gotten up to 16-17 mph so not super fast but it will get to there faster than walking (or running). The milage is ok. I haven't come close to the 25 miles they advertise, but realistically that is only in ideal conditions (perfectly flat in eco mode). I'm getting more on the range of 10 miles per charge but I run in sport mode and live in San Francisco... Yeah hills are killer. The ride is good, but you will feel those rough spots coming through the scooter. There are no shocks but I wonder if that makes that much of difference. I feel rough spots while riding in a car or on a motorcycle so really with 10 inch wheels I don't think shock absorbers would matter too much. I don't commute with this, or any, scooter but I could imagine it would be pretty difficult unless you ride all the way. At 40+ pounds and not very compact, I could imagine climbing bus steps would be cumbersome. The folding mechanism is excellent so if you are strong enough. My only real gripe is with the regen braking. They appear to be either on or off. It isn't very subtle. That it doesn't appear to make too much difference are far as battery life. You'd think coasting down the hill would be getting better milage, but I haven't seen much if any difference. I leave it on for the extra braking power. As far as braking... The drum brake work just fine. I do anticipate when I need to stop, so I've never had to stop short (fingers crossed) but when I do brake hard I haven't had any problems. I don't think you'd be thrown over the handle bar, but I make sure to lean back anyway. All told I would recommend this scooter looking for a low maintenance ride with either a short commute or for running short errands. Or getting you to the tennis courts. Remember always wear a helmet, and if you want the most protection, gloves, knee and elbow pads as well. Have fun and be safe.

I cannot say enough bad things about my experience with this scooter. Others may have different opinions however here is what happened with mine: 1) The brakes are non functioning at 100% battery life. When i asked their customer service they said this was "normal behaviour". Having a scooter that can be ridden on roads with cars that has times where the brakes do not work is downright unsafe. 2) When I was going down a hill an error code 40 appeared. At this time the battery was about 80%. At the same time as the error code, the brakes entirely stopped working and i accelerated down the hill causing me to lose control and fall off injuring myself and ripping holes in two pieces of clothes i was wearing. According to their customer service error code 40 means its over charged which makes absolutely no sense. 3) Finally after going up a hill the scooter seems "tired" and is unable to run at its max speeds. For example, i will approach a hill going 28 km/hr. Going up the hill i will achieve about 15 km/hr which makes sense. After this hill the ground will flatten out and the scooter will refuse to go above 15 km/hr. After describing these issues to various of their customer service reps, i was promised a "small gift" being sent to me which never happened and they never referenced again even when i explicitly asked them to tell me what was happening with that. Their customer service only responds during the middle of the night in Canada and they are only capable of responding with pre-generated responses. They do not care about you, your safety, or your health. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. After over a week of dealing with their abysmal customer support i spoke directly to amazon who fixed the issue for me in less than 30 minutes providing me a method of returning the defective unit and even compensating me for the damage to my property. NEVER BUY THIS SCOOTER OR ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

FINAL UPDATE: I've decided I don't want to deal with warrantying this product. I'll be returning the scooter and replacing it with a Turboant X7 Max. Much better range, higher ground clearance, higher wattage battery, higher top speed, lighter, and at a similar price, not sure why I didn't do that from the beginning, lol. Even if you don't heed my advice about random failures (since it seems not an awful lot of people are dealing with this), heed my advise about the braking system. The brakes are downright not functional after a full charge. It has something to do with the regen brakes not kicking on until the battery is drained a bit, but you're left with almost no braking power for at least 5 minutes after a fresh charge. I've nearly run into people multiple times. ORIGINAL REVIEW: this is my first scooter and i'm super happy with it so far, keep in mind, i'm 6'1", about 240lbs pros: -really well built -17mph max speed (totally achievable even over the weight limit) -good range -the price, other scooters with these types of specs are far more expensive -2 year warranty (haven't had to use yet, but reassuring) -responsive back regen braking as well as front drum brake -looks great -still receiving software updates as of july 2022 -super capable torque wise, the motor peaks at 600W for hills, and because of this i've been able to maintain 12-13mph even going up decently steep hills -large enough deck to comfortably fit both of my (large) feet cons: -regen braking doesn’t work for a few minutes after fully charging the scooter. this is downright DANGEROUS, because you basically lose the majority of your braking power and have no way of knowing until you try to brake -bluetooth connection can be iffy, often it will take a while, or a restart for my phone to connect to the app. (especially because the bluetooth doesn't show up in settings, you have to wait for it to connect automatically) -app is REQUIRED to use most of the scooters functionality, annoying privacy wise, but whatever -slightly heavier than competition (still light enough to go into the back of a car or up some stairs) -apps distances stay in kilometers despite having changed units to miles in the settings EDIT (9/16/22): all of a sudden, my scooter refuses to turn on. i left it on the charger for a few hours, took it off, and it won’t power on anymore. i’ve checked the connection in the stem with no luck. really disappointed because i’ve gotten used to using this scooter to get to classes. waiting on NIU support now, guess we’ll see how it goes.
